Feminism Under Siege
A male oppressor who goes by the name of Roy Den Hollander is threatening progressive practices in his town by launching a couple of lawsuits. NEW YORK - A man who is already crusading against ladies' nights in bars has sued Columbia University, saying its women's studies program is unconstitutional.Never mind the strip clubs that cater to male preferences each and every night, bylaws permitting, nor the science programs at the university that attract more males than females. What really matters is reparations for hurt feelings and free handouts to further your cause.
Roy Den Hollander filed the lawsuit Monday in federal court in New York. The lawsuit claims the college program is discriminatory because there's no comparable men's program. It says the university uses government aid to promote a religious belief system known as feminism.
The suit seeks a men's program or an end to the women's program.
Fodder for the menfolk is forthcoming, or maybe not because it doesn't follow the narrative of the day:
The mayor of an Australian outback mining town has come under fire for urging unattractive women to move in, assuring them they will find a man because there is a shortage of women.Send your money to *BITCH* for a return to sanity. We will continue to lobby for more manflesh in the woman's studies programs in Mitchieville. Real women prefer men in combat boots.
John Moloney, mayor of Mount Isa in northwestern Queensland, told a newspaper his town was a place for "ugly ducklings to flourish into beautiful swans" and called on the "beauty-disadvantaged" to flock there.
In the face of outrage over his remarks, Moloney stood by his comments, saying he did not mean to cause offence but wanted to highlight the gender imbalance in the remote town of some 25,000 people.
[..] Mount Isa city councillor Gary Asmus said that while there was a shortage of women, Moloney's comments were an insult to the town's menfolk.
The mayor was "returning us to the Dark Ages and making the guys that live in this town seem like sex-hungry starved men that will pounce upon the first girl that they see walking down the street," he said.
