Our Mini Vacation In Niagara
TLDG and I went to Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls this weekend for a little romantic getaway. The stress of being The Mayor of the 49th fastest growing community in NE Durham Region, Ontario, Canada, North America, The World, gets to me at times, it's nice to leave the big smoke and relax with the common folk.
We arrived at Niagara on the Lake around noon on Saturday and decided to go to one of the local establishments and have afternoon tea.
Many of you might think that afternoon tea should be taken at 3 or 4 pm. You people are wrong. 12 pm is good enough for us.
The proper way to drink English Breakfast tea is with your pinky sticking upwards from your cup. It is also helpful to have a cool scowl on your face. Then nobody messes with you for sticking your pinky upwards when you drink afternoon tea.

After tea, we proceeded to do a little shopping in the village and we bought some various sundries that the local hippies were selling. After our many purchases we decided to leave Niagara on the Lake for our Bed & Breakfast in Niagara Falls.
Along the way TLDG and I stopped by a local church and made out.

Before we checked in at our B & B, we went to the falls and had a gander for the 7000th time at the wondrous falls.
The Maid of the Mist was stuck on ground, so with a little push of my fingers (not my pinky, that is solely reserved for afternoon yea), I launched the boat away from land and into the Niagara gorge.
I later found out that I launched the Maid of the Mist far too hard and smashed the rather large boat in half. I am very powerful, that much is obvious.

We proceeded to leave the falls and walked up Clifton Hills to see some of the attractions. We walked westward and decided to check out the Boliva Tower. TLDG, who is also mighty, decided to lick the Boliva tour. When asked what the tower tasted like, TLDG said it tasted like chicken. I would have thought it tasted like fish, either way, it's kind of a hot picture and she's going to get it good tonight.

Afterwards we hung out at the B & B and relaxed, we really needed a break after a long day of tea drinking and tower licking. You can see The Mayor chillin' like a villain on penicillin on the small queen size bed.
If you're curious as to what the pillow says, it states, "All things grow with love". Aint dat da truth? TLDG can attest to that, she's been hobbling like Nancy Kerrigan after a Tanya Harding smack down all day.

I hope you enjoyed looking at all the pictures of our little getaway, I suppose I can honestly say that I had some happiness bringing them to you.
