What I Think when I see the Canadian Flag
The Canadian Flag reminds me of Canadian War Crimes. They could be war crimes committed here in Canada, or around the world. The sight of that flag, what others have called the flying used tampoon, just makes me bubble up with tears. It makes me suffer. I cry like a girl, I am so upset.
Memory Lane of Canadian War Crimes Where to start? Oh, how about that nice black boy tortured to death by Canadian Paratroopers in Ethiopia ... or was it Swazistan? Anyway, they took a souvenir video which, a few years later, ended up in the hands of the Main Stream Media. Circulation rose, and people turned on the TV for a whole week, thanks to those photos. (If you Google on 'Canadian War Crimes' you get 2,240,000 hits ... what more proof do you need?)(And I will not provide you with a link which would just perpetuate the propaganda that I make stuff up)
Smallpox Blankets, anyone? Lord Cornwallis (*) was a Classically educated member of the British ruling class. He composed latin prose at parties. He watercoloured. He was a crack shot with a shotgun, and he ordered that blankets crusty with pus from dying smallpox patients, be handed out to the local natives, who could not compose latin prose. Horrors!
The list of Outrage is endless. My fingers are slippery with my tears as I type this. How could anyone fly that flag, the flag of Canada? The endless offence committed to man and woman, animal, domestic and free, plants, both domesticated and wild.
More popular social spending initiatives are called for. We need more bulletproof students. The right of social workers to canary yellow photocopy paper supplies. More paid vacations for activists. Turn in shame from the Canadian Flag.
