*The Pill* causes cancer

Groups like Planned Parenthood have been saying for years, for ever actually, that "the pill" protects against cancer of the ovaries, and cancer of the lining of the uterus. I always found this to be a strange statement because I never could figure out where they got this logic from. Today I found out. They're bullshitting you.
A press release issued on July 29th of this year by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a division of the World Health Organization (WHO), declared the little publicized classification of combined estrogen-progestogen oral contraceptives (OCs) as carcinogenic. The IARC placed the contraceptives into their Group 1 classification, the highest classification of carcinogenicity, used only "when there is sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in humans."
In layman's terms, "the pill" causes cancer.
The list of scientific bodies that had found a substantially increased risk of several types of cancer amongst combined OC users, citing a "significant increase" of the risk of breast cancer, as well as an increase in the risk of cervical and liver cancers.

According to the IARC "worldwide, more than 100 million women - about 10% of all women of reproductive age - currently use combined hormonal contraceptives."
Nice, eh? "The pill" causes cancer. Remember ladies, Planned Parenthood is on your side, they're there to help you. Planned Parenthood is all about choice, as long as they make the choice for you.

I know what you're saying, you're saying, "But Mr. Mayor, why hasn't Planned Parenthood told us of the risks of cancer due to using the pill, I mean, Christ, they've known about the dangers for over 10 years, women are dying, and yet Planned Parenthood has been silent. Aren't these lying vermin negligent?" Hmmmmm, let me think about this.

What if Planned Parenthood had admitted that they have been lying to you for all these years, and that women are actually getting cancer from the pill, and that the pill doesn't really prevent cancer, they just made that part up, what if? Do you think Planned Parenthood would still be raking in tens of millions of dollars of Federal funds if they admitted they had information that could potentially save thousands of lives?(actually, knowing our culture of death, ya, they probably would) Do you think that people might start to think that all the *truths* Planned Parenthood, and groups just like them, have been feeding young girls about abortion might be a lie also? Do you think the general public would still donate loads of cash to an organization, and organizations like Planned Parenthood, if they knew that they willfully let women die from cancer without uttering one solitary warning? Huh?

Now I'm not saying that Planned Parenthood would rather women die than to be up front and honest about the information it had, but then again.....facts are facts.

Go read about the death merchants here.
