Northern Peaks--And Possibly Valleys

The CRTC (Canadian Radio & Television Commission) approved a new Canadian pay channel called Northern Peaks last week. Canadian Peaks is a pay-per-view porn station that promises 50% Canadian content. There are obviously proponents and opponents to the new porn station, but I don't intend to get into the pros and cons of this station, I'm more interested in how Northern Peaks intends to come up with 50% Canadian content.

Now I'm not a person that believes in censorship. As a matter of fact, I have come up with a list of titles for shows that are based on old and new Canadian shows that I'm sure Northern Peaks would be interested in hearing about. Without further ado, here we go, eh:

1) Little Whore House on the Prairie

2) The Bushcombers

3) The Beachcummers

4) The Nightly News With Some Slut

5) Corner Ass

6) Red Green & Green Red--Brothers In Arms (wink wink)

7) Debbie Degrassie Does Junior High

That's pretty much all I have, after all, Canadian television is pretty terrible. Must be due to their lack of funding.
