Another Foot Washes Ashore In British Columbia

Another foot has washed ashore in BC. For those of you keeping score, that's six feet found in the last year, four righties and two lefties (I'm cheering for the righties)

The foot was discovered at about 10:30 a.m. by a woman picking rocks on the ocean side of the spit.

She said she saw a foot in a black men's running shoe. She said she saw two bones sticking out of the shoe, and that the bones appeared to have been cut.

The foot is the sixth found washed up on B.C. shorelines since last August. So far, four right feet and one left foot have been found. Eyewitnesses said the foot found on the Tyee Spit appeared to be a right foot.

Police say they are stumped as to what is going on, some feel they have been hobbled in their efforts to get to the bottom of this situation. It's hard not to sound like a heel, but I think the police need to put in more resources into additional detective work, because let's face it, detective work is the heart and sole of any police investigation. It's time for the cops to put their best foot forward, or at least put their foot down and demand more help with these cases. No arrests have been made and there are very few clues. So far, the evidence is so minimal that even if the police had a suspect, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on if it went to court.
