The Mayor's Fireside Chat

I haven't updated you regarding the going ons in Mitchieville for quite some time, and as you may have noticed, we have had some startling changes.

Reg is working the IT team night and day to put out a more polished product, and as you can see from the sidebar, things are really shaping up nicely, especially with the cosmetic changes and the addition of a few YouTube screens. Sweet.

A few days ago I went through the sidebar and cleared out a bunch of bloggers that aren't producing posts any more, that always saddens me. However, with every end there starts a beginning, and all that other jazz.

There has been a small Cabinet shuffle, with MAD moving up the ranks to the Senate. At the rate he's moving, he'll have my job in no time. Wait, that's not right.

I also want to tell anyone that reads Mitchieville and has a website that I would be more than happy to put your site up on the sidebar, I'm always looking for new additions. I'm not even sure half the time who links me, so it would be nice to know that if you have Mitchieville on your sidebar and would like to exchange links, just let me know in the comment section and I'll add you quick smart.

We have noticed that there has been a massive spike in readership over the last six months in Mitchieville, and I'm pleased as punch about that. From the look of things, we have pretty much doubled our readership in the last half year. I dial that back to the roofie and whiskey giveaway from a few months back, that was very successful and paid great dividends obviously.

I'd like to say a big hello to all the new readers and to all the folk that come here but don't leave comments. I believe your technical name is *lurker*, but I don't care, as long as you're happy, I'm happy. Having said that, I'd really like to hear from some of you lurker-types. How about giving The Mayor and Reg, Fenris and the gang a big hello? Sure, it's easy. Just go to the comment section and fill in a phony name and tell us how much you enjoy, and love us.

One last thing: If you have any suggestions on how you think Mitchieville can improve, feel free to tell me, I love feedback. If you'd like to see more entertainment, less entertainment, more original pieces, more posts from Reg and Lisa, whatever it is, I'm all ears. Seriously, I have huge ears, they're disgusting.
