Alchemy for Investors, part 3

Having set your house in order, and developing right discernment, the investor is now left with the problem of 'asking questions'.

Contemplation of the tarot trumps The Emperor, The Empress, and The Hierophant allow us mastery over the stuff that flows out of our subconscious. Our next task is to further develop our control by being able to pose questions, suggestions, and commands to the subconscious.

The Magician is a card of concentration. Contemplation of this trump will give you insights into the art of concentration. That which you concentrate upon tends to manifest ... though a process of involving Memory, The High Priestess, Imagination, The Empress, the products are then evaluated by The Emperor.

You can begin to influence this process of manifestation through conscious control of what you choose to concentrate upon. The alchemists teach that thoughts are things, so for you to begin to have mastery there are two things for you to do.

Firstly, keep a journal. This is a message to your subconscious that you are paying attention to the processes of the first seven trumps. The correspondences between thought and manifestation will become an open book to you. There are laws involved in this, and you are wise to learn them.
Secondly, become observant. Manifestations of alchemical forces, laws, and agencies, occur around you frequently. As you cultivate your observation skills, you will develop a testimony. The Magician is a conscious observer, and agent in manifestation.

When you ask a question, you should direct it at the correct agency, and you should be prepared to accept and implement the answer. Those that do not follow this procedure become the figures in The Devil, bestial, ruled by their emotions, and limited. Become observant of people who are like this. Their reasoning is flawed, they are unhappy and fail, and they are the food of predators.
Ultimately, everthing you need is already present within you to acheive mastery of the great work. The Tarot is but a useful tool contrived by others who have gone along the path before you. There are other tools. You may access all of the powers, agencies, and wisdom though casual day to day actions, thoughts, and meditations. Infact, you are already working the gears and levers of manifestation.
Now, if you are hungry for wisdom, take action. Take up a notebook and make it your journal. The first work that I taught you is to make order. The second work is to take up your journal. With these tools alone you can become master of all you survey. Do it now.
