Linkie Love Linkie Links by Reg
(authorized by the committee to white-wash the election results for Mayor Mitch)
It came to me out of the blue the other day. A memo from the mayor asking if I could post a little bit of Linkie Love at Mitchieville. After the tears of joy subsided the horrible weight of responsibility bore down on my shoulders like Atlas and his eternal burden. You have one chance to bring joy to the people of Mitchieville Reg - don’t blow it!

It was the spring of ’88. I had just turned 16 when my parents got me a “new” car. It was a beautiful brown 1971 Chrysler Newport (like the beauty to the left) with vinyl seats and an AM radio. My friends and I loved the ‘Brown Bomber’ (a witty nod to the classic album Zeppelin II). She didn't impress the babes, was hard on gas, and was a pig to parallel park, but she was mine. Watching this girl’s reaction to getting a gorgeous new red convertible for her 16th birthday made me think of the old Jackie Gleason saying - “Pow, right in the kisser”.
I haven't seen much of his work but this Eddie Izzard clip made me laugh and laugh and laugh some more. Remember folks - Laughter is what Mitchieville is all about.
Ever have that bad dream where you showed up at work not wearing any pants and your German colleagues started laughing at you? This NSFW link is the modern equivalent of that terrible, yet funny, dream.
No wires, no CGI, and no known steroid abuse, Tony Jaa is the man. If you haven’t seen Ong Bak or The Protector you haven’t seen a martial arts flick.
I’ve got a fiver for anyone who can do this.
I’m sure you’ve all been wondering where Reg came from. Here’s a hint: ‘Too good friends, to good times, and to ritualistic murders’.
Let's see: Cars, Breasts, Martial Arts, Star Wars and Germans - that sounds about right for Linkie Love.
