We Are At War
Members of Cabinet, Backbenchers, and fellow Mitchievillian's:Yesterday, December 12, 2006 - a date which will live in infamy - Mitchieville was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire Eagansville, East Gwillimbury and Fostertown.
Mitchieville was at peace with these surrounding Hamlets and towns, and, at the solicitation of Eagansville, was still in conversation with its government and its Mayor looking toward the maintenance of peace in NE Durham Region, Ontario, Canada.
Indeed, one hour after East Gwillimbury air squadrons had commenced bombing the American Outfitter store at the Mitchieville Mall (open late until Christmas, for your convenience), the Ambassador to Mitchieville and his colleague delivered to Fenris a formal reply to a recent Mitchievillian message. And, while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack.
It will be recorded that the distance of Fostertown to South West Mitchieville makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago.
During the intervening time the tri-Government has deliberately sought to deceive Mitchieville by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack yesterday on Mitchieville caused severe damage to Mitchieville's naval and military forces and I regret to tell you that very many Mitchievillian lives have been lost. In addition, Mitchievillian ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between Eagansville and the port of Mitchieville.
Yesterday the Tri-Governments also launched an attack against Southern Mitchieville.
Last night the Tri-Governments forces attacked The Schicklegruber Institute for Re-Education.
Last night the Tri-Government forces attacked every beer store in Mitchieville.
Last night the Tri-Government forces attacked The Manor.
Last night the Tri-Governments attacked The Yarn Barn in Northern Mitchieville.
And this morning the Tri-Governments attacked Starbucks in central downtown Mitchieville.
The Tri-Governments have therefore undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Mitchieville area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of Mitchieville have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.
As Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense, that always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the Mitchievillian people, in their righteous might, will win through to absolute victory.
I believe that I interpret the will of the Cabinet and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger.
With confidence in our armed forces, with the un-bounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph. So help us God.
I ask that the Cabinet declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by the governments of Eagansville, East Gwillimbury and Fostertown on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, a state of war has existed between Mitchieville and these Tri-Governments.
Fenris has been working around the clock on a plan of action to stop this evil that lurks within our borders. To him I extend unlimited powers. Whatever Fenris needs to do, he has full authority to do so.
General Suvorov and General Trav have also been contacted, and they are, as we speak, assembling our Army and Navy for an active response. TH-III, defender of our Southern Consulate hasn't been heard of since the fighting began. Please pray for him. RG, MACCO are taking care of internal Mitchievillian concerns and will issue a response at an appropriate time.
I will post more information when I receive it.
