Kofi Annan Attacks Bush's "War on Terror"

In one of his last speeches as Secretary General, Kofi Annan lays into George Bush over his "War on Terror"

He suggested that in the "war on terror", President Bush had ridden roughshod over the international community and compromised America's respect for human rights. Mr Annan made plain his concern that the United States had allowed its status as the world's sole superpower, coupled with its desire to protect itself against terrorists, to undermine its historical commitment to multilateralism.

He added: "No nation can make itself secure by seeking supremacy over all others. We all share responsibility for each other's security, and only by working to make each other secure can we hope to achieve lasting security for ourselves."

"No state can make its own actions legitimate in the eyes of others," he warned. "When power, especially military force, is used, the world will consider it legitimate only when convinced that it is being used for the right purpose - for broadly shared aims - in accordance with broadly accepted norms."

The international community that Kofi Annan speaks of, the same international community that Kofi Annan wants America to go to for permission when it makes a foreign policy decision, is the same international community that doesn't have the guts to call what is happening in Darfur, genocide. Hundreds of thousands of people have dbeen slaughtered, hundreds of thousands more face extinction, and Kofi Annan, and the international community sit around arguing over crossed T's and dotted I's. They have done NOTHING. Kofi Annan is a shameless prick.

This is the same Kofi Annan who's UN troops rape and molest little children. They are sent to protect the world's most vulnerable but instead whore them out and fuck them. Kofi Annan says the UN has a zero tolerance towards troops that do that, but out of the thousands of cases of abuse, only two soldiers have been convicted to date. Disgusting.

Kofi Annan is the Secretary General of an organization that stole billions of dollars in the oil-for-food program in Iraq. While Saddam was butchering his own people, tens of thousands of them, UN members, including Kofi's own son, were getting rich off the mad oil money. And who has been convicted in this monster scandal? You tell me. Again, shameless.

Kofi Annan is in charge of an organization of frauds, thieves, rapists and murderers, yet he has the audacity to point an accusatory finger at the United States. Kofi needs to get his own house in order before he points an accusatory finger at anyone. And after he gets his house in order he needs to apologize to the victims families in Darfur for doing absolutely nothing to help them while he was in charge. And then he needs to burn his house down. Preferably with him in it.

And I won't even go into what Kofi hasn't done about North Korea or Iran.
