More Moslem Tolerance Towards Women

In a sermon a month ago, Moslem cleric, Sheik Taj Aldin al Hilali, had this to say about women who don't cover up their faces with head scarves:

"If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside ... and the cats come to eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats' or the uncovered meat's?"

"The uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred," he was quoted as saying, referring to the head scarf worn by some Muslim women.

Australia's Sex Discrimination Commissioner Pru Goward said al-Hilali's comments encouraged rape and that Muslims should force him to step down.

The good cleric has no intention of stepping down, and why should he? He has been appointed mufti by Australia's top Islamic body and is considered New Zealand and Australia's top Islamic leader.

This is not the first time this man of peace has seen his share of controversy. He once described 9/11 as "God's work against the oppressors". Sweet.

And since it was a Moslem blaming rape on women, the only next logical step to this article and argument is to blame non-Moslems for crimes that haven't been committed yet, and play victim:

Waleed Aly, a member of the Islamic Council of Victoria state, said al-Hilali's comments would result in more antagonism toward Muslims.

"I am expecting a deluge of hate mail," he said. "I am expecting people to get abused in the street and get abused at work."

Poor Moslems. They never seem to get a break.

Considering no abusive acts against any Moslem has happened in Australia yet, it's good to see that the Moslem's have such good foresight to start blaming non-Moslems for imaginary crimes. Good job keeping your eye on the ball.
