Share That File With Me, You Stud
If you are anything like me, and I don't mean hung like a horse and able to breathe out your ears, then you enjoy peer-to-peer file sharing. For those of you not in the technological "know", peer-to-peer file-sharing isn't something perverted geeks do to each other's bumholes on a Saturday night, it is actually fancy-pants talk for stealing. Thievery, damn you.
I have a grand total of 2 songs that I have downloaded onto my computer, downloading songs is just not my bag. Downloading movies though? That's my bag. I have burned close to 800 movies in my illustrious life and I fear not the retribution of the RCMP or local police enforcement. They can't catch me, I am too swift, I am like a bird, a very swift bird. I am a very swift and important bird.
Wired magazine has an interesting article on peer-to-peer file sharing on the interwebs. It seems that all of the file sharing type sites are decent enough, but the ones that stand out the most are BitTorrent, uTorrent and Azureous.
I like to download from BitTorrent, it's my personal fave. It's easy to use, it's fast, and they have pretty much any movie you can think of at your fingertips. Not only that, but since I've started using BitTorrent, my hair has grown back, I'm getting a higher interest rate from my bank, and it seems that my penis has become quite thick, similiar to a baby's arm.
Here's what I was wondering...do any of my fellow Michievillians use any peer-to-peer file sharing other than BitTorrent? If so, which ones do you use, and why do you like them?
That was a great post, I'm very pleased with the many turns it took. Sometimes I think of a topic and there's no stopping me, tonight was one of those nights when all the planets lined up perfectly and I knocked the ball out of the God damned park. All praise be to me.
Peer-to-peer pressure
