Mourning the West Wing

I was moved to tears this morning when I discovered that one of the best politically correct television shows, The West Wing, was cancelled. My morning main stream media moment, when I can relax and concentrate upon the ring of facts that encircle The Truth and push it into the bowl of consciousness, was squished!

Like most Politically Correct Social Activists, I think that our Media Truthspeakers should do my thinking for me, and especially, for everybody. This is one of the kernels of Truth imbedded in the Movement. And the West Wing provided a refreshing bowl of Truth, with many kernels of The Way Things Should Be. If only reality could be as good as the fantasy world that is reality for our West Wing writers, actors, and audience.

In this bittersweet moment, let me touch upon my favorite episodes of The West Wing:

Episode 47: The Trouble with Truth. A real nail bitter as a contingent of openly homosexual Marines is trapped in a meat packing plant in some redneck town in California. The Marine commander, played by Sean Penn, is carrying secret documents: the text of an apology by the President to the People of Japan for the war crimes committed by American military during the brutal seizure and occupation of Guadacanal during the Meat-eating Imperialist War of Unjust Aggression 1941-1945. President Bartlet, caught up in a smear campaign from his evil Republican rivals, must struggle with his decision to destroy ammunition for the military and his budding love for his Labrador retriever, Che. Gosh.

Episode 116: Tears for the Homeless. President Bartlet must struggle with the unjust opposition when he airlifts in four hundred thousand starving refugees from Mozambique into Texas during the off-season elections. With a stroke of his pen, Bartlet gives the refugees citizenship, and the state of Texas votes in
progressive activist Idi Amin in a massive show of support for Bartlet's realistic policies. Evil heteronormatives start a tuberculosis and ringworm epidemic to undermine the President, but fail miserably, thanks to Universal Health Care.

Every fact here is checked by a main stream media fact checker ... so you know it is true.
