Sony Anti-Distortion Ad

This is an ad for Sony Anti-distortion HiFi. "For a cleaner sound."

I'm with the good folks at Ads of the World, as in I don't really get what the ad is trying to get across.

Is Sony trying to tell us that before you listen to this new Sony product that you best clean out your ears? I highly doubt it. Are they inferring that I'm deaf? Can't be, they don't even know me. Are they saying that you should stick small cotton swabs into the recesses of your ears because they are filled with musical notes? Possibly, but once again I doubt it.

Maybe you know what they're saying. Help The Mayor out here.
