The Mayor's Linkie Love

Another work week is upon us. Monday is, by, far, the hardest day in which to wake up. Statistics prove that there are more assaults and suicides on Monday's. Even the Roman Catholic church, in 1154, tried to ban Monday's. Pope LaShawn Washington said, "Monday's, what are they good for? Absolutely nothing, bitch".

I'm getting a little tired of all the Monday bashing. I like Monday's, I think they are a spectacular day. Monday's are way better than Tuesday's or Wednesday's. Those days can't hold a candle to my beloved Monday. All I ask, is that you stop looking at Monday through anger glasses and start looking at Monday's through love glasses. With anger glasses, Monday's are no more than 40/45 vision, but with love glasses, Monday's are 20/20.

In celebration of our newest, bestest friend, let's have a little linkie love.

At first I thought this hockey fan deserved a punch in the ear, but on second viewing, what he did is actually kind of funny.

One of the most dazzling projects – and the cultural centerpiece of HafenCity – is about to break ground – the Elbe Philharmonic Hall (Elbphilharmonie) designed by Basel-based Herzog & de Meuron. The design incorporates two distinct elements: a pre-existing brick warehouse topped by a new crystalline tent-like structure that seems to float above the industrial base.

Name that Hair-Metal Band is a quiz that tests your knowledge of 80's hair-bands. I actually did quite well on this quiz, which worries me.

A feature attraction of Diving in Belize, Especially for divers with a appreciation of geographical phenomena, is the opportunity to explore the famed Blue Hole. Part of the Lighthouse Reef System, it lies approximately 60 miles off the mainland out of Belize City. It is one of the most astounding dive sites to be found anywhere on earth, right in the center of Lighthouse Reef is a large, almost perfectly circular hole approximately one quarter of a mile (.4 km) across. Inside this hole the water is 480 feet (145 m) deep and it is the depth of water which gives the deep blue color that causes such structures throughout the world to be known as "blue holes."

Inspire learning in the bathroom with Smart Shower Curtains. This is a great way to promote education and fun in the bathroom. The cartoon-ish look will appeal to kids and encourage them to ask questions. "Inspire learning in the bathroom????"

Cocoon is a place to find shelter in extreme conditions and environments. Hang it off a tree or a cliff face or anywhere you else you need to. Inside, the user is comforted by a warming colours and materials that will ensure they stay warm no matter what the conditions are like outside.

This is a quick clip that I'm sure many of you will pass on: It's of a man having a heart attack. I'm showing this to you in order to put into perspective how delicate life is. Ya, that's it.

On the other hand, this is a quick clip of a mule looking at a hot woman on the beach, while sporting a mule-sized erection. Possibly NSFW, unless you're a drug mule.

Create your own customized motivational posters
. Armed with a digital camera and that non-stop wit of yours, you now have the power to turn a simple photograph into a humorous or inspirational message. Believe it or not, this isn't a craptastic site.

So there you go, what a great way to start a Monday. Yup, some people at City Hall are now saying Monday is the bestest day of the week. And you know something? They may be right.
