Heavy Snow Can't Deter Global Warming Protesters
As heavy snow fell on the steps of City Hall in Annapolis, Maryland, about 400 global warming protesters gathered to watch legislators sign a bill that would mandate all businesses in Maryland to cut emissions of global warming pollution by 25 percent by 2020 and 90 percent by 2050. The irony of the heavy snow and the freezing temperatures was lost on the protesters, of course:
Many of the protesters who endured the cold to chant "Stop Global Warming!" said they didn't think the snowfall conflicted with their message. Davey Roegner, a 22 year old student at the University of Maryland College Park, beat on an African Djembe drum to rev up the crowd. He said the snow was a "gift" to remind everyone about how rarely Maryland has been blanketed with beautiful white in recent years as temperatures have increased.Yup, nothing revs up a crowd like a spoiled college puke beating on an African Djembe drum.
The global warming franchise hit a home run when they decided to change the name of global warming to *climate change*. Unlike global warming, climate change can be blamed for any type of bad weather. Too much snow, not enough snow? It's because of climate change. Is it too warm or too cold? It has to be because of climate change. Did the month of October have 13% too much rain compared to rainfalls from the 70's? Damn climate change, we are all doomed.
Climate change is complete nonsense, and if you take away billionaire actors, politicians and college pukes, you wouldn't have even one soul show up for these protests.
Sure, The Mayor believes in climate change, but I prefer to call it *Seasons*. Yup, summer, autumn, winter and spring, it has climate changed four times every year since I was born. And I'll bet you dollars to donuts that it will continue until they spread dirt on my pine box.
Climate change--I'm all for it!
