Origins/MindTrap/Trivia Friday
It's not often that we have a MindTrap or an Origins Friday and come away without a winner(s). Yet lastt week we had no winner. There were quite a few players with 2/3, but there was one questions that stumped the whole lot of you--question #1. Here are last weeks correct answers:1) Stripe on the pant's leg.I'm sure you're saying in your mind, "Ah, yes, the military pant stripe". Well, hindsight doesn't help you one iota now, does it? Let's start living in the present.
2) Red Herring
3) Eggs Benedict
This week is the last Trivia Friday for the year, next week I'm taking a little break from it. So, I've decided that today I will ask one MindTrap, one Origins and one General Trivia question. The excitement is rushing through my veins.
Let's git 'er dun!
1) NameThose are hard, but fair questions. Once again, for the third week in a row, I'm confident that I have gotten two of the questions correct. I'm wavering on the third, but I have a sneaking suspicion about the answer.
Sir Robert Peel, the organizer of the first modern police force, wished his men to be uniformly dresses. His force wore navy blue with a particular type of large metal buttons and badges. A nickname for all police officers has developed from this apparel.
2) MindTrap
Jack axe found a stick that weighed exactly 2 pounds. If Jack cut the stick into eight equal pieces, how much would each piece weigh?
3) General Trivia
How many of the nine planets have moons?
How about you? Do you think you have what it takes to answer one, let alone all three questions correctly? I'd like to see what you have, and not in a perverted way, although I can't say that hasn't crossed my mind.
