Toronto Mayor David Miller--Turncoat, Traitor, Enemy
Scotiabank has launched a challenge to all Canadians in order to bring unity to all and the cup home to Canada: Pledge allegiance to the Ottawa Senators. No, seriously. And all you have to do is to go to the Scotiabank website tomorrow morning and sign this:I, __________devoted fan of the ______ solemly swear to set aside team rivalries for the duration of the season and pledge my support to the remaining Canadian team.I'm betting that as of tomorrow morning there will be alot of people with the name "Fuc Kyou" and "Inyer Azz". I'm telling you right now that no one from Toronto will ever sign something like that, you'd have to be some sort of disgraceful loser to sign something so stupid. Who in their right mind would be such an idiot to pen their name to a pledge so ridiculous?
I hereby dedicate my hockey-loving soul to their quest to bring the glory home
to the place where hockey was born, where the game was perfected, where its spirit runs deepest, And where the world's greatest trophy belongs.
To make the pledge, visit www.senspledge.com (Pledge will go live May 31st at 5 a.m.)
Toronto Mayor David Miller, Vancouver Mayor Sam Sullivan and Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier will be the first three Canadians to pledge their support.I can't say that doesn't figure, Miller would pledge support to Guatemala if they invaded us. Socialist traitor.
People of Mitchieville: I'm going to tell you, in the long version, of course, why Scotiabank can blow me and why David Miller is such a retard. First off, there is no such thing as bringing the cup back to Canada, that doesn't make any sense. Every player from the winning team gets to take the cup home, to their hometown, for one week. Seeing as there are more Canadians on Anaheim than there are on Ottawa, the cup will be *Home* more in Canada if Anaheim wins.
Secondly, this isn't an American vs. Canada rivalry, that's what Olympic hockey is about. The reason hockey sucks so much lately is because of attitudes and viewpoints like what Scotiabank and Mayor Miller spit out. For the love of God, hockey is Canada's sport, it doesn't matter who wins.
Thirdly, there is only one hockey team in Canada, and that is the Toronto Maple Leafs. Sure, the Leafs haven't won in 40 years. Sure, they suck. Sure, we have the highest ticket prices in the NHL and consistently put out a poor product, but this is Leaf Nation, not Senator nation...*Senator Nation* even has a faggy sound to it.
Fourthly, if the Yankees were playing the Blue Jays in the playoffs (haha, Blue Jays in the playoffs), would you expect the Bosox nation to root for the Yankees? Exactly.
The Ottawa Senators will never get my support, they are the natural enemy of any Leaf fan. I wouldn't cross the road to spit on Daniel Alfredsons head if it was on fire. I would, however, spit in his mouth if I had some form of mouth disease. Sign a pledge to support Ottawa? Lick me where I poo. Any Torontonian that signs that pledge is a traitorous arsehole and should be shipped off to where people go to rot and eventually die. That's right, I'm talking about Ottawa.
Hockey is hockey, politics is politics, and the brains from Scotiabank, and Toronto Mayor David Miller, should be ashamed of themselves.
Pathetic.
Spit.
