Name That Slogan
I fluked by a website today that was half-article, half-quiz, and possibly half-man. If you're wondering how something can possibly be three halves, then you haven't studied science like I have. I suppose that's the reason why I have many letters after my name and a white lab jacket, while you, well, I'm sure being the Yarn Barn employee of the month is nothing to sneeze at.From here there are probably no more ha ha's, you might want to move on. I however, I'll have to stick with this post and make the best of it. Here goes:
I was going to keep this post until Friday and use it as part of General Trivia Friday, but I've decided not to do that. The reason why I'm not doing that is simple: I am bereft of original ideas today, my mind is like mush and I think I'm starting to develop erectile dysfuctionality problems. What does all that have to do with this post? Not much really, but it gives me another chance to talk about my penis.
How well do you know your corporate slogans? If you are anything like me, and I don't mean strong as an East German woman and sexy as a musk ox with its hind legs broken, then you will probably know your corporate slogans quite well. Corporations spend millions and billions and sometimes trillions and trillions of dollars every year to brand themselves, let's have a boo at a few of the slogans in question.
1 . Capital OneGranted, a few of those slogans are strictly American, like the Capital One, but I'm interested to know how many the great citizens Mitchieville got correct.
A. The Only Card You Need
B. Right Where You Want Us
C. What's In Your Wallet?
2. Sprite
A. Obey Your Thirst
B. Refreshment Every Day
C. What's Your Pleasure?
3. Heineken
A.The Beer To Have When Your Having More Than One
B. It's All About The Beer
C. As Good As It Gets
4. GE
A. Innovation Is Our Pursuit
B. We Bring Good Things To Life
C. Ideas Around The World
5. Taco Bell
A. Think Outside The Bun
B. You Just Can't Get Enough
C. Beans Go Good With Everything At TB
6. Gatorade
A. When Winning Is Everything
B. For The Athlete In You
C. Is It In You?
If everything works out well and there's 25-40 comments by morning, I'll post the other dozen or so slogans on the site. If not, well, no slogan for you, killjoys.
