Sad Tales of Inadequate Social Spending
Once upon a time, there was a happy village of global village people living in multi-cultural harmony and earthoneness. Everybody spoke different languages, celebrated a pantheon of supreme beings, and enjoyed guilt free sexual relations with most any animal, primate, or shaped plastic sex toy.
But one day, a bad man cut social spending. He pulled too many branches from the money tree that grows in Ottawa. The money tree was sad. There was not enough cheques to go around.
In the happy village, a young boy became angry because of cuts in social spending. His name was Little Mitch. He became heteronormative and started to be irresponsible with firearms. He would take his pellet rifle and shoot the blind teachers at the local blind school as they walked to the subway station.
Nobody would respond to letters of complaint. Little Mitch's parents could not get help. Little Mitch's teachers could not get answers to their questions. The blind people, nursing welts on their asses, could not get the fire department interested in doing something about this crisis.
Little Mitch's grade school class wrote him a poem, decorated with paper flowers, set on bristol board, asking him to stop pinging off blind people.
Finally, someone created an activist front to co-ordinate fundraising to develop an action plan. Somebody stood up in their community!
We need more Social Spending. Social Spending is Doubleplusgood.
This is a sad tale. Do not let other little boys become heteronormative meanies.
