The Mayor Helps The Children

What a fantastic day it was today. Today was the annual "Help A Child With Debilitating Acne" day in Mitchieville. I always give of my time freely for such a worthy cause, and to make the day even more special, I was joined by the Deputy Mayor's of Mitchieville, Daniela and Michelle. It was a pleasure working with my favourite pair, the children really seemed to open up to them and they really seemed to have opened up to the children.

Although Lisa couldn't make it today, I'm sure she must have had an excellent reason. The same goes for Fenris, he must have had other appointments today.

Although Lisa and Fenris couldn't make it to such an important event where children relied so much on them, they were there in spirit and I'm sure if both of them weren't so busy, they would have gladly given of their time like Daniela, Michelle and I did.

But back to the day, wow, what a fantastic time shared by all. After all the children were gathered, we had pizza and some nice refreshing drinks for the kids. During our lunch, Daniela and Michelle decided to share with the pock-marked children some of the interpretive dance they learned in a special *Adults Club* outside Vegas a few years back. The children were very, very happy when they saw this.

After the food and entertainment, we sat around in a drum circle and told stories. I wasn't actually there for that part, I had other pressing matters I had to take care of.

After the interesting stories, Daniela, Michelle and I went back to The Manor to reflect on the great day we all had.

We managed to make close to $300 for this most worthy cause, and I immediately took the money and invested it into a high yield account.

God bless the children and all the people that made this day possible. Maybe next year Lisa and Fenris, if they aren't too busy doing what they were doing today, can help bring some smiles to those that need it most.
