Liveblogging Blogfest liveblogging
It's Blogfest 2008! I'll be liveblogging the live blog of this event for the benefit of Mitchieville readers everywhere who can't be here to read the live blog with me. We'll explore it together.
Will there be jokes, or laughter? Violent rage, or tears? Or all four, constantly and simultaneously reinforcing one another and feeding back, as in previous years? How will these events be described? And in this medium that is so impervious to destructive heat, what will people write about the books that burn?
The question will be answered, how will alcohol, phenylcyclohexylpiperidine, and choking clouds of book ashes affect our town's painful, contagious epidemic of comma splicing? How has the Mitchieville mosquito population been affected by this summer's catastrophic climate change, and what impact will that have on the willingness of posters to spend time indoors blogging?
Will there be pictures of a seven-layer dip, and if so, how many layers will be visible? Gentle reader, let's find out the answers to these and other questions together.
8:19 PM No one has posted anything whatsoever on whatever it might be that may be happening! I seem to have gotten up early for no reason. I am thinking of making some instant coffee, or maybe going for a walk.
8:29 PM I made some instant coffee.
9:41 PM By almighty, all-wise Set! Still no updates.
Keep watching this space for more liveblogging liveblogging.
11:04 PM OK, stop watching this space.
