Friday Night Male Flesh - American Revolution

July 4th (aka Independence Day) is a pretty big deal for us Americans. (Btw, don't you just love how we claim the term "American" when there are about two dozen other countries who share the American continents with us?!)

 

July 4th often means the iconic BBQ, camping, fireworks, and waving the ol' Red White and Blue. We like to pretend it's our big annual opportunity to remember the great revolutionary spirit that forged our country. But really, it's a day for us to remind ourselves how much our country fucking rocks. And a chance for us to say a big "F You" to anyone who doesn't fall in line with our every whim. (You hear that France?!)

 

 

I may be oversimplifying just a little bit, but let's be serious. We are bizarrely and somewhat overly patriotic as a country. It's something deeply ingrained in our psyches: America is great, no matter what we do. And don't even pretend to tell us otherwise. Our citizens really like to show their pride by draping themselves in flag paraphernalia quite regularly. Usually this annoys me to no end. Aren't there better ways to show your patriotism than just waving a freakin' flag around? I guess I'm far less annoyed when it's hot, shirtless men who opt to express their fleshy patriotism.

 

 

It also doesn't bother me much when muscle dudes get the American flag tattooed on their shoulders. But when fugly dudes and chicks do it, it just pisses me off.

 

 

So, enough of my whining about lame faux-patriots. I know Mitchieville celebrated Canada Day recently. I think we should be more neighborly  and celebrate each other's holidays together. With this sentiment in mind, I just couldn't help but share this combo USA/Canada Male Flesh pic.

 

 

And finally, I know some of the Mitchieville regulars get tired of so much Male Flesh.
