Writing For Hollywood
Seeing as how the Hollyweird writers strike has I will give you a brief synopsis of three potentially award-winning scripts: 1) A cheapskate who falls asleep Christmas eve is visited by the ghosts of x-mas past, present and future. The dream scares him so much that he wakes up the next day, goes out and buys everyone that he stiffed a bunch of cool gifts...like IPods and Nintendo WII and crack. Hyjinx and hilarity ensue.
2) Cindy, an honour student, doesn't study for a math test and knows she is in trouble. She ends up buying a test from a fellow student and cheats her way to an A. Her brother finds out and threatens to rat her out. Before the brother can rat her out, she confesses to her fat father and hot mother. They ground her for 1 month--without TV!!!!--but she fully understands her parents and accepts her punishment gracefully. Hyjinx and hilarity ensues.
3) A child goes away for the weekend to camp and his father and mother are left to babysit the boys pet gerbil. The gerbil dies and the parents are in shock. Not knowing what to do they decide to replace the gerbil with a pet store replacement. When the little boy gets home, he looks at the gerbil and announces that that isn't his gerbil, his gerbil has a brown spot on its nose. The parents, feeling like the scum that they are, confess, hug the little boy and bury the gerbil in the backyard while holding a full funeral for the little rat. Not so much hilarity or hyjinx ensues.
So there you have it, I hope this helps Hollywood. They are in a real bind, and I am only too happy to help them.
