The Rule of Law

Telemarketing, especially surviving and ultimately thriving at telemarketing, gives any progressive activist an eye to what The People actually think, say, and do. Today is no exception ... I used my telemarketing skills to blend in, like a brown recluse spider (*) waits for opportunity inside your slippers in the morning.

Todays topic was Street Racing. At break, at lunch, and at break again, the straight heteronormative males were fuming about being oppressed. Their invisible white privilege was invisible. Their spiffy cars, bought with money they earned through work, were now more of a burden. They were angry and were exploring solutions, and seeking consensus. The fact is, unless they were willing to break the law in some way, there was no solution. Which leads to the bright, shining idea: what is wrong with breaking the law, anyway? Why should anybody respect The Rule of Law?

Indeed, the role models of our society do not respect The Rule of Law. The intellectuals who drive the left embrace illegal immigration, and spout off endless bile about the enforcers of the law. Their support is for those laws that they cherry-pick in the orchard. Among my working class contacts, anecdotes about welfare fraud, lazy and criminal N-people, and sociopathic immigration, are common. These people may vote socialist, but they think David Duke. And who is to say they are wrong when all they are doing is a 'monkey-see monkey-do' act? It is commonly believed by The People that social spending exists to create jobs for social workers, not to help Oppressed-Canadians. That the education crisis is a smoke screen for protecting union (teacher's union) jobs. Indeed, that the celebration of illegal immigration is a way to puff up the need for social spending on social workers. There is no Rule of Law, it is merely the posturing of medieval warlords over control of the herring trade or the shipment of wool. If you transgress in some ways, you are crushed. In others, you are celebrated. There is Law, but no Rule.

So, say The People, why should I obey The Rule of Law? My taxes are used not to protect me from foreigners who would kill me, but to give them breakfast and driving lessons. My taxes are not used to educate my children to be productive, but to enable those that are a burden, and to make them into a greater burden. So, say The People, let us jump into the underground economy. Let us steal from our employer (his time, his resources, his reputation), and sell it for cash. Our Red Leadership looks away from counterfeit foreign products that kill our pets and make us sick. Why can't I make counterfeits, too?

Indeed, where is my slice of the Illegal Immigration pie? as my Street Racing co-workers are beginning to think. Yes, let our daughter go on welfare with her kid. Why should she marry? It makes better economic sense. Besides, everyone else is doing it. Yes, let our sons go steal a car or break into a house. Someone else will pay for his lawyer, and he will not get much of a punishment, anyway. He can go on student welfare, and it will be easier for him to get into engineering. If my neighbour is a bum, I can slash his tires or cut his telephone lines. I already cheat on my taxes, so I might as well do as much as I can get away with. There is no Rule of Law. When the unions, the left, and the media celebrate illegal immigration, well, I can celebrate illegal too.

The Rule of Law is eroding in the minds of The People with each main stream media propaganda campaign. The starving children of child poverty? Nobody seems to actually know of any children who have famine, but many know obese social workers who need ten clients to justify their job. Rampant gun crime? Nobody seems to know anybody who has been killed, but many watch reports about it far away in the big city where the clients of the social work industry live.

The Street Racing culture does not want to be taxed for street racing. And, now they want their guns back. If there is no Rule of Law, then life should be fun again. Fun with fast cars, women who like fast cars, and guns to plink with.

As Herr Goebbels said, people become tired of The Lie. And now, they want part of The Pie. Let us get some of that illegal immigrant action. Going after my street racing was the last straw.
