Mitchieville Welcomes Its 250,000 Visitor

I wrote a post yesterday regarding Mitchieville's 250,000 visitor, and within the hour I took it off. Why, you ask? I received one email from a very irate woman, and when I asked TLDG if she thought the post was in bad taste, she responded by saying it was not only very hurtful, but it was in extremely bad taste. I know, I can hardly believe that anything I write can be associated with bad taste.

I have only taken two things off Mitchieville in its 2 1/2 year existence, the post which is below (I guess technically I'm down to one thing taken off now), and another post entitled, *Debbie the Slut* (If you'd like I'll gladly post it again for you)

I want you to read the post below, it's the one I took off yesterday, and tell me honestly if you think it is in bad taste. Be brutally honest if you have to, I can take it.

As Mayor of the 49th fastest growing community in NE Durham Region, Ontario, Canada, North America, The World, I am happy to announce that Mitchieville has opened its arms (and legs) and has received its 250,000 visitor. And that person is a foreigner, none-the-less!

Thank you foreigner, thank you for visiting Mitchieville for close to seven minutes today. We will always remember you fondly, we only have special memories of you.

You see, foreigners can actually serve a purpose, even foreigners from lands that we hear very little about and care even less for...like our little friend from Lithuania. Lithawhat? Lithuania, you sad sack of shit.

As a tribute to our 250,000 visitor from Lithuania, I will sing the Lithuanian national anthem:
