Abortion Hits the Internets
A non-profit group in San Francisco (surprise) has unveiled a series on online cards that friends and well-wishers can send to their loved one after they've had an abortion:Like Exhale's confidential talk line for women who have had abortions, the six e-cards available on the group's Web site were designed to be nonpartisan and encompass the range of someones potential responses to going through an abortion. Some of the sentiments in the cards include:
"As you grieve, remember that you are loved." Another provides encouragement for someone who "did the right thing. "Yet another strikes a religious tone with the thought that "God will never leave you or forsake you."This is what The Mayor likes to refer to as a *Hallmark moment*.
Why stop there, why stop at six cards? I have been thinking of some sentiments that would be perfect for that loved one who has just had an abortion. How 'bout:
You'll never hear its beating heart,That rhymes well, it's a keeper.
Kill that baby, it's a good start.
But you have much more work to do,
Euthanize your parents, they're not people, too.
Maybe that's a little too morbid for you. What the hell am I saying, these are abortion cards.
God loves all his little children,That's short and to the point, abortioners seem to be busy people, so maybe that's a good thing that it is so short.
However, not so much the one you just had ripped out of your womb.
Happy abortion, Julie.
One last one before I go vomit:
Abortion is legal, safe and free,I did have one last one, but I couldn't put an ending to it:
How many have you had? Holy fuck, three?
Slut.
Doris is preggo, Tommy banged her,So there you have it. Please feel free to add your own gems in the comment section. I'm guessing you won't. I'm also guessing that this is the last trip to Mitchieville for quite some time for many of you.
She got scared and grabbed a hanger.
Mark! Look what you've done!
