Valentines Day, 2007
Yes, you lucky village people who live and work and pay taxes to support the shining center of civilization that is Toronto, the City of Light, yes you are fast approaching that wonder day that is Valentines Day! Put aside your peasant worries and woes! It is time to celbrate the wonder that is the privilege of supporting the most important city this side of Alpha Centauri!Toronto is more important than you, you worm. That is right! Here in Toronto is the last block of politically correct voters. Without someone to spend your taxes, you are without meaning and purpose. Here on the diverse streets of Toronto are the activist wolf-chieftans, the irresponsible spenders, and the self-appointed Santa Clauses of feel good, resultless, and a-logical rulership. And by ruled, we mean you, peasant.
Rejoice all you Insects, in Valentines Day! Put down your heavy burden, let your responsibilites simmer on the back of your old stove. On this day, this special day, you do not have to kiss the tax collectors boot. Instead, spend money on your heteronormative love objects. Ply them with chocolate, with lavish dinner, and with gifts of money and precious stones. Forget your burdens until tomorrow, for on Valentines Day you are almost like the Special Ones who live in Toronto.
It is always Valentines Day in Toronto. Here, in the City of Light, easy and cheap access to physical pleasure is always to be had. You may dream of this, in your mud encrusted peasant way. Here in Toronto are the blessed ones who never work, but always complain. Free money and free food flow like a snowfall of pretty cheques upon the upthrust, grasping hands of the entitled. They eat for you, they spend for you, and then they complain about it. From the welfare office, to the food bank, to the free-tuition colleges, back and forth moves the life long eaters of your taxes. Mmmmmm.
You are lucky.
