Attack of the Giant German Rabbits!

North Korea has a problem. Actually North Korea has lots of problems but the biggest problem is that nearly the entire population, some 23 Million people, is starving. Kim Jong-il, the leader of North Korea isn’t starving. In his own Mitch like way “Dear Leader” spends $700,000 a year on Hennessy Cognac, eats fresh lobster with silver chopsticks and has a multi-billion dollar program nuclear program.
It seems that Kimmy has come to realize that you can’t have much fun as the leader of a country if the entire population is dead. The problems is how does one feed a country that has been stripped of most of its vegetation? Order take-out from South Korea you say? No silly, you can’t order take-out for 23 Million people. No, North Korea is going to grow Giant German Rabbits for food.
According to Der Spiegel Online, North Korea is about to start breeding 10.5 Kg (about 22lb) Giant German Rabbits in an effort to feed the starving population. Each rabbit can feed 8 people. It’s Mensa Friday so let’s do some math: 23 million people, 1 rabbit feeds 8 people, hmmm – that’s only 287,500 rabbits needed each day. That my friends is a whole lot of Monster German Bunny Rabbits running around. While it is nice to hear that Kimmy has decided that feeding people is important he should be careful. What’s the worst that could happen you say? Just ask Australia.
It’s been reported that Kim Jong-il likes opera, so for the Dear Leader we have some opera. Good luck killing da wabbits Kimmy.
