Is There Anything Global Warming Can't Do?

The answer is no, global warming can and will eventually do everything:
Climate change could bring a sharp increase in cases of kidney stones in Illinois and other Midwestern states, according to a new study.

People in warm regions develop the condition at increased rates. Sweating in warm weather removes fluid from the body and increases the salt concentration in urine, which can spur the growth of kidney stones.

By the year 2050, the new report estimates that a large chunk of Illinois will fall within America's "kidney-stone belt," which currently includes only Southern states. The Chicago area alone would see up to 100,000 extra cases each year, according to the report published Monday.
Following that logic, if temperatures decrease in the next 40 years as many scientists have predicted, then the incidences of kidney stones will drop dramatically. I hear that Chicago alone would see up to 100,000 less cases each year.

The next 40 years will be very interesting. I'll be on pins and needles worrying about the day when global warming would, should, possibly, maybe, perchance, perhaps could cause extra cases of kidney stones in Chicago. Or not.

It takes some serious stones to make this prediction...
