The Mayor's Linkie Love

I was in Sobey's yesterday with the family, buying overpriced groceries and what not, when there was a little incident in aisle 11.

My mom and TLDG were buying fruit of some sort and they were happily shopping away. For some unknown reason, I thought it would be funny if I picked up the hose that the grocers use to spray down the fruit and vegetables, and give a little spray to TLDG and ma. I push down on the nozzle, and for some reason the grocers had the nozzle set to 3 alarm Fire. I was expecting to give them a little mist, and a torrent came out.

The water whizzed right by TLDG and my ma, and hit this guy standing about 10 feet from them, right in the side of the head. He was pissed. He turned and saw me, ready to say something, then, it was like a little light went off in his head and a voice said to him, "Don't say a word, just take the humiliation. This man is obviously much bigger than you and could kill you in one second flat. Just keep squeezing your cantaloupe and act as if nothing happened".

My mom didn't even see what happened, she was too immersed in fruit buying, but TLDG, she was another story. Although she was not impressed for the simple fact that I was aiming at her, she was still laughing. Let's face it, you don't get to see a guy get shot in the skull with a tsunami of water every day. Oh ya, good times.

When I was a child, two of my favourite things were: Making cool paper airplanes, and unzipping the bra of Julie Barton. While I couldn't bring Julie Barton in today to unzip her bra, I do have a very cool site that covers everything you would like to know about excellent paper airplane technology.

J.M. Heinrich sent me a link that, in a way, I wish he had never sent me. Cannon Challenge is a superb game that basically destroyed my weekend with my legitimate children. I'm not a gamer by any means, but I loved this game. Hell, I actually want to make love to this game.

There are some quizzes that I find on the intertubes that are most excellent. Fun quizzes that are a delight to play. Then I find quizzes with cool names but the actual quiz is shit. How Totally 80's Are You? falls into the great name, shit quiz category. Why am i passing it along to you then if it is indeed a shit quiz? Let me ask you the same question: Why am I passing this on to you if this is indeed a shit quiz? Ya, answer me that!

A Comparison of the US-Mexico Border in 1898 and 2008. The town of Nogales is split down the middle by the US/Mexico border. In these pictures Mexico is on the left, and the US is on the right. In 1898 you could cross anywhere. Now there is a 15 foot high wall and border patrol agents every 50 yards.

Earth at Night isn't that picture that every one and their stupid Aunt Sally has seen already. Oh no, Aunt Sally hasn't seen this picture yet. This is a new earth picture, a very impressive earth picture that will give you minutes of enjoyment.

As far as Top 10 lists are concerned, the Top 10 Craziest Pre-Nup Agreements ranks squarely in the middle in terms of quality, humour and overall performance. It's worth a click though, some of the stories are pretty funny.

From Website--Since our tipis (teepees, tepees) are as authentic as possible in our contemporary world, they bring to the 21st century a "living artifact". They make it possible to experience what a nomadic culture experienced hundreds of years ago. Our tipis (teepees, tepees) are authentic Sioux style to which we have added reinforcing and design variations that are the results of our own tipi living experiences in snow, below zero temperatures, coastal rain forests and hurricane force winds.

At first glance, I thought that Buildings that look like Rocks was pretty cool. On second glance I thought that they weren't that cool at all. At third glance, I because physically sick at the picture and vowed to kick the arcitech in the ear if I ever met him. I hope this site has the same affect on you.

From Website--Who hasn’t imagined living on their very own floating paradise? For those aboard ResidenSea, a permanent ocean-going residence, this dream is at least a partial reality. Freedom Ship (upon its completion) will take floating cities to a new level and if the Living Universe Foundation has its way the oceans will just be a first stop on the humanity’s path to the stars.

Do you like Magic Tricks? Do you like the thought of being an illusionist? Do you like to hang out in Turkish prisons and let large, hairy men talk down to you? You answered affirmative to all three questions? Seek some help, sicko. Anyway, the Top 10 Magic Trick Tutorial Videos is wow, it's now, it's on fire, blah blah blah.

Having Linkie Love on a Monday is special. It makes the crappiest day of the week ever so slightly less crappy. And that means a lot. Doesn't it? Sure it does.
