Meanest Mom In The World Isn't So Smart
In what seems to be in the playbook of parenting 101 nowadays, a Fort Dodge mother has sold her sons car after she found booze in the front seat. Here is the ad she placed in the local newspaper:"OLDS 1999 Intrigue. Totally uncool parents who obviously don't love teenage son, selling his car. Only driven for three weeks before snoopy mom who needs to get a life found booze under front seat. $3,700/offer. Call meanest mom on the planet."We've seen parents use similar types of discipline before on their children in the past few years. I remember one mother caught her boy smoking dope and made him stand on a busy corner with a sandwich board around his neck that read, "I'm an idiot because I smoke pot". Another guy caught his son smoking dope and sold his Guitar Hero on Ebay with a similar note to what this hag wrote.
She says the ad cost a fortune but has been worth it.
And although the car has been sold, Hambleton says she'll keep the ad running for another week -- just for more feedback.
I'm sure many of you applaud this parent for selling the boys car. I'm sure many of you probably think she's frustrated and the boy needs to be taught a lesson. While she might be frustrated, and the boy probably does need to be taught a lesson, I'm against the method behind her madness.
It's one thing to sell the boys car, but to sell it in a newspaper with that note attached to it is cruel and humiliating. The boy needs to be taught a lesson, he doesn't need to be humiliated. Why didn't the hag just sell the car privately without all the fuss? I'll tell you why: hag lady is an attention hound.
Look at what the hag said again. She's keeping the ad up for another week, even though it's costing her some good quid, because she wants to hear more positive feedback. Can I fill your ego up, ma'am? Why on earth does it matter so much that she has get all this positive feedback? Isn't this about disciplining her boy? Is it really that important to not only knock the boy down, but then to kick him in the balls and spit in his face? For shame.
When it comes to parenting, hag lady fails. That boy is going to hate her guts forever and most likely won't get over the humiliation she's putting him through. This new form of parenting sucks royally. If you have dirty laundry, keep it in the family. Facebook, Ebay and local papers don't need to hear your crap.
Meanest mom? No. Dumbest mom.
