Slaves eat Mush!
Ah, the nutritious goodness of Roman slave food. Romans valued their slaves as property, and fed them well. And because I care, I shall treat those under my care, like a Roman plantation owner, under the hot Sicilian sun. My happy, well fed slaves are eating mush.Mmmmm. Mush! The old fashioned way! I use a recipe from a mouldy diary found in a destroyed and abandoned Roman garrison blockhouse in Albania.
Three-Eights full Pot of boiling water. Dip a silver amulet into the boiling water as you add salt. Say a prayer to the genius of Lucius Verus (*)
Heft in a kilogram bag of prunes. Keep them in the nice plastic bag. When the prunes swell and burst the bag enough that you fish it (the plastic bag the prunes came in) out with a gardening rake, then you can pour the pruny mixture into a food bucket, and mix at your leisure with rough husked grain, which is high in fibre.
After the work force all has three minuites and thirty seconds of sitting break, then they shall be served a communal food bucket. And that bucket is this delicious prune mush! Mmmmmm, your mouth waters at my mere mention of prune mush!
I, Fenris Badwulf, the caregiver for your children, wrote this.
