I Wonder if there's an Election coming up?
Here we go again .
Conservatives demand immigration minister apologize for Klan remarks
Volpe is doing what he knows how to do best, he knows how to race bait. It's a well known Lieberal art that seems to always have the same message, but a message that always works. All a Lieberal has to do is point a finger at a Conservative and say he is a racist, and the press does the rest. The finger pointer relieves himself of all accountability. Volpe is the same act played over and over again, when in doubt, shout.
Here's my prediction of how this whole thing will play out: you will never hear anything more of this story, ever.
Conservatives demand immigration minister apologize for Klan remarks
OTTAWA (CP) - The Conservatives want an apology from Immigration Minister Joe Volpe for comparing them to the Ku Klux Klan. The Opposition party is made up of racists, Volpe said Tuesday, calling members recognizable "notwithstanding that they don't have their cowl and their cape."Wow. How can an Immigration Minister be allowed to make those remarks and get away with it? How do black Conservatives feel about those comments? I'm sure the CBC will have an in-depth report about it tonight on the news. Trust me, the news from here on in is going to sound like this, "and Mr. Harper, how do you respond to those that say your party is made up of racists?". In about 3 weeks the Toronto Star will start running articles about how the Conservatives are being hounded by allegations of racism, same ole same ole.
"The Klan looks like it's still very much alive," the minister added.
Volpe made the comments in response to a poster prank in which two Conservative MPs refer to the Liberals as the The Liberanos, a mocking reference to the television Mafia show The Supranos.
The poster portrays former prime minister Jean Cretien against a backdrop featuring likenesses of Prime Minister Paul Martin and Public Works Minister Scott Brison, as well as key players in the sponsorship scandal. That's not saying that all Lieberals have Mafia ties, it's saying Paul Martin, Scott Brison, and Jean *poutine* Cretien have Mafia ties. Cretien does for sure, look at how Martin got rich, and Scott Brison is a trainwreck. You should have to prove to me that they aren't in the Mafia.
