300 Carbon Credits To Fortune & Fame--We Have A Weiner

After a long, hard fought battle, a victor has emerged, and today we crown Chris Taylor the winner of Mitchieville's 300 Carbon Credits to Fortune and Fame.

Last Monday, my lunch consisted of a peameal on rye, a pear, apple juice, a bottle of water and a Rice Krispy Square. Chris Taylor correctly guessed a few snacks I had in my lunch, propelling him to victory.

What a fantastic contest, the memories will last us a lifetime. Looking back, there were a few moments that stand out for me. Like seven weeks ago for instance, when I asked that question and a few of you guys were like *really?* and I was like *Yes*, and you couldn't believe it, yet you didn't question it any further. Good times. Or that time when that new person was all like *right* and we said *pardon?* and he/she said *I think not* and then Todd got all up in his/her face and said *No* and then we never heard from him/her again. That was SOOOOO great.

To many of you, Chris Taylor will be remembered as the guy who won the Carbon Credit game at the fifth best Canadian blog. To me, Chris Taylor will be remembered as the greatest Canadian hero ever. All the other Canadian heroes--like that guy with the blue eyes, or that chick with the limp--pale in comparison to what Chris Taylor achieved. Chris won through dedication, hard work, and perseverance. Other Canadian heroes got where they are through a lucky break or possibly blood money.

To the victor goes the spoils. To Chris Taylor goes a Tim Horton's or a Starbucks gift card, a Mitchieville T-Shirt and a giant bottle of the finest Mennonite syrup in the world.

Chris--congratulations on your victory. And congratulations to everyone that played. We'll start up a new game of something very soon, I just have to figure out what first.
