France VS. Swiss Report
I know that I'm a little late reporting this game, but it's the first chance I've had in a few days to get in front of a computer.
I had the privilege of watching one of the most exciting soccer games of my life yesterday. The France vs. Swiss game was exciting as exciting gets. The power of the game, the intensity of the match was nearly overpowering to me, I was sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the whole match.
No wonder we, as North American's, view Europeans with such high regard, they truly are masters of the most all-consuming and intense sports in the world. How anyone could NOT enjoy a soccer match is beyond me, it's chock full of amazing action, it's a non-stop cornucopia of acrobatics, endurance and nail-biting excitement.
As for the France-Swiss match? It does not get any better than that. The whole game was played with such enthusiasm and vigor, that I found myself completely glued to the TV, screaming and sweating and jumping up and down like a madman. The action was just so incredible, the players played at a fever pace, the stadium was electrified at such frenzied action.
Oh yes, soccer is for winners, soccer is for adrenaline junkies. Soccer makes hockey and football look very boring, soccer is truly the most intense and passionate game in the universe, the France/Swiss game proved that a thousand times over.
Final score: Zero FUCKING zero!
