Dr. Phil is a Headcase
A hypocrite is defined by dictionary.com thusly: n : a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he does not hold [syn: dissembler, phony, pretender]Calling Dr. Phil:
TV shrink Dr. Phil McGraw has admitted to not practicing what he preaches when it comes to keeping family life.
Despite advising couples on working out their differences, he revealed he doesn't like seeing his wife Robin's family.
"The truth is, I ain't big on family. I love my family and spend time with them, but I believe in having my own life and doing my own thing. And I sure wasn't big on her family," he said in an interview for the January issue of Ladies' Home Journal.
And how does the advice master deal with his in-laws?"I mean, my idea of a good time wouldn't be to drive 100 miles to sit in her sister's house with their kids running around on a Saturday afternoon. I'd rather take a beating. I've been to her sister's house once in 30 years. I know them and they're good people. So let's get this straight. Dr. Phil won't drive 70 minutes to see his sister-in-law, who he readily admits is a good person, but he'd rather *take a beating* than doing the right thing by spending time with his wife's sister. Well *Dr.*, if you need someone to administer that beating, feel free to give me a call at The Manor.
What a selfish little prick that Dr. Phil is. A family man isn't just a person who spends time with HIS immediate family, a family man also spends time with ALL loved ones in his family. He seems to be proud of the fact that he's basically disowned his wife's family, and why? Because Dr. Phil is a lazy and phony hypocrite.
Why people watch this scumbag is beyond me. I'd never take any advice from a guy so uncaring and thoughtless.
In case you're wondering, yes, that is a picture of Jessica Alba. It's not as if I'd let that cue-ball *Dr.* Phil defile the pages of Mitchieville.
Dr., heal thyself
